Abstract

One of the prominent features of Latin American is the mixture of reality and magic, which derives from tendency of mythologizing reality of almost all of the Latin American writers. They exploit the layers of folk culture in different ways to get the materials for their writing. My article will examine some of myths entering the modern Latin American writers’ works with the spiritual motives and images such as the dream, the foreshadower, the labyrinth, the death and so on.
