Abstract
The article analyzes three plays by Hoang Nhu Mai. All, entitled The drumbeats in Ha Hoi, were published together in 2001. These dramas demonstrated his “ideal and artistic road” as being a playwright. His artistic nature was expressed in the brilliant, simple but complicated techniques of renovation in modern drama.
