Sumary:
In my essay, we research characteristics of language of folk songs that were collected 128 years ago in Cau hat gop of Huynh Tinh Cua. We choice and explain the meaning of ancient Vietnameses and southern languages in many folk songs by looking up the meaning of them in Đai Nam quoc am tu vi that compilled by Huynh Tinh Cua. We research how southern characteristics expressed in languages of folk songs were collected in late 19th century by researching southern languages and form of address, beside we explain the meaning of folk songs include many sino – Vietnameses in Cau hat gop.
